Dr. Erin S. Williams was born and raised right here in the great state of New Mexico. She grew up in Peralta, and moved to Albuquerque just before starting elementary school. After graduating high school she moved to Memphis, Tennessee for college. However, this short stint made her realize her true love for the southwest, and she moved back to Albuquerque to complete her undergraduate degree. While going to school she worked part time as a receptionist at a busy animal hospital here in town, and fell in love with veterinary medicine. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Williams took a year off of school to work full time as a veterinary technician. She then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to start veterinary school. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2010 with her degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school she practiced for one year in Phoenix, Arizona; completing an intensive small animal rotating internship at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona.
