VCA South Shore in Quincy is located on Adams Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Appointments are available six days a week, from 9:00 a.m. until the last appointment at 8:40 pm Monday through Thursday, 5:40pm on Friday and 3:40 pm on Saturdays. We share doctors with our sister hospital VCA South Shore (Weymouth) in Weymouth, Massachusetts, which is a 24-hour emergency facility with very flexible scheduling.

Dr. Sheri Procious is a native of southeastern Connecticut. She received a B.A. in Biology from Boston University in 1995. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she worked as a research and development scientist in the biotechnology industry, where her most interesting research projects included the design of prenatal �gene-based� diagnostic tests for hereditary diseases such as cystic fibrosis and Down Syndrome, and the application of similar technologies to cancer research projects within the company. An interest in medicine and love of animals brought Dr. Procious to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004. After graduation, Dr. Procious completed a one-year internship in medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital, where she has remained on staff as a general practitioner. She has special interests in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Procious enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with family, friends, and �Toby,� her Labrador/Great Dane mixed breed dog.
Dr. Angela Girello was born and raised in South Florida. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science in 2000 from the University of Florida, and in 2005 she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to the Boston area in 2005 (with her 2 dogs and 2 cats) where she completed a 1-year medicine and surgical internship at VCA South Shore. After her internship, Dr. Girello remained on our staff as an emergency clinician and general practitioner.
In her free time you can find Dr. Girello cheering for her Florida alma mater. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as scuba diving, jogging, bike riding, and is learning to surf and snow-board.

Dr. Michelle Politano was born and raised in the Boston area. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Biology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1997. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Politano attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her doctorate in 2001. Upon completion of her internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth, MA, she was invited to stay on as a general practitioner and senior staff member. Dr. Politano divides her time between the Quincy clinic and the Weymouth hospital, where she is also the Head of the General Practice Department. During her free time, Dr. Politano enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her new husband, John.
DVM, University of Florida
Dr. Bruce A. Walker graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Following graduation he did an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Darian Animal Hospital in Connecticut. In 1991, Dr. Walker completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at the New York College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University; he then joined the medicine department at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital. Dr. Walker accepts referrals in all aspects of internal medicine and is available for consultation at our Weymouth office and at our clinic on Adams Street in Quincy.
