Dr. Kim Kaufer
Dr. Kim Kaufer

Dr. Kim Kaufer graduated from the University of Florida in 1993 with a Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine, following a Bachelor Science in Zoology. She opened St. Francis Animal Hospital in June of 2003 with the goal of giving the best care possible for her patients. She has spent her career educating people about pets and providing pets with progressive medical, surgical and dental care. In June 2002, she completed a 140 hour medical acupuncture for veterinarians (M.A.V.) program at Colorado State University and in 2009, she completed an additional 20 hours of continuing education on advanced acupuncture neurophysiology. Dr. Kaufer is married to Paul and has two wonderful boys, Gabriel and Nicholas. Outside of veterinary work, she enjoys hospice care for people, church, strength training, poetry and reading.

Dr. Kerri Mozinski
Dr. Kerri Mozinski

Dr. Kerri Mozinski is originally from Columbia, Maryland. She attended Virginia Tech where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management with a minor in Biology in 1993. Dr. Mozinski received her DVM from Iowa State University in 1997. She practiced small animal medicine in New York before moving to Colorado with her husband, Todd, in 2006. They share their home with a lucky painted turtle named "Potter". They both enjoy the Colorado lifestyle through camping, hiking, and canoeing. She also enjoys swimming, reading and traveling.

Angela is our full time hospital manager and client care specialist. She is a P.I.M.A. medical institute graduate. She has been with us since her P.I.M.A. externship in 2005 during which time she became an invaluable asset to St. Francis Animal Hospital. She is intelligent, compassionate, and responsible. She shares her life with Tim and their adorable sons, Timothy and Samuel, as well as her large extended family of people and pets.
