Dr. Bradley Bays has been a veterinarian at Belton Animal Clinic & Exotic Care Center since 1993 and an owner since 2002. Her interests in veterinary medicine are varied but she loves surgery and takes much pride in some of the more difficult and life changing operations that she has done on dogs, cats, and exotic animals.
She is an international author and lecturer on exotic pet species and is a board-certified specialist in Exotic Companion Mammals. As a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, she has helped many dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds and a few lizards to live a better and more comfortable life.
Dr. Matt Scheele is a 2016 graduate of the University of Missouri Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine. While earning his undergraduate degree, Dr. Scheele worked at the University of Missouri Veterinary Hospital and the World Bird Sanctuary. He later gained experience at the Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre in British Columbia assisting a veterinarian with critical care cases and rehabilitation of marine, avian, and terrestrial wildlife.
During his time in veterinary school, Dr. Scheele worked at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital & Bird Clinic as a veterinary assistant. His interest in exotic and avian medicine led him to preceptorships with Bird Medicine & Surgery and the Kansas City Zoo. His professional interests include exotic care as well as radiography and ultrasound technology.
Dr. Krystal Miller earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in May 2013. Before joining the team at Belton Animal Clinic, Dr. Miller practiced at a small animal hospital practice in Sioux City, IA. Dr. Miller is passionate about high-quality medicine and enjoys treating complex cases and establishing a strong relationship with her clients and their pets.read more
Dr. Elizabeth Myers earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in May 2011. Dr. Myers has extensive experience and has worked as an associate veterinarian, medical director, and traveling relief veterinarian in the Kansas City area. She is skilled in general and emergency services for dogs, dogs, exotic mammals, and reptiles. She is licensed to practice in Kansas, Michigan, and Missouri.read more
