We are a full service companion small animal pet veterinarian hospital. Our veterinary services and vet facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for pets at all stages of life, early detection and treatment of diseases as your pet ages with complete medical and surgical care during their lifetime. Our entire veterinarian healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner as well as to the needs of each individual pet. We treat your pet as we would our own.
Our facilities include in house and send out veterinary laboratories, small animal surgery, full pet dental care, ultrasound diagnostics, preventative and treatment of veterinary medicine, pet pharmacy including full range of pet foods, heartworm control, flea-tick control, microchip pet ID, domestic and international health certificates, therapeutic laser therapy, and client education.

Dr. Kier has been with Princess Anne Veterinary Hospital since 2002. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor?s degree in Wildlife Science with minors in Animal Science and Biology. Dr. Kier received his graduate degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is a nationally accredited veterinarian with the ability to issue domestic and international health certificates for families traveling with their pets. When not working, Dr Kier enjoys spending time with his wife (a local emergency veterinarian), three children, and numerous pets including an Australian Shepherd, four cats, and various fish (both fresh and saltwater).
Dr. Johnson has been our Managing Veterinarian since 2016. She is originally from Huntingburg, Indiana, grew up all over western North Carolina, and has been in the Hampton Roads area since 2010. Dr. Johnson graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Prior to completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Dr. Johnson joined the United States Army where she obtained her paratrooper wings and returned a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Her special interests are in ophthalmology, geriatrics, and anesthesia. She is the proud owner of a young cat named P.Y.T, a Rottweiler named Andros, and a senior hound mix named Rosco. During her time away from work, Dr. Johnson enjoys fitness and outdoor activities such as Olympic style lifting, rock climbing, and watersports.
