Our Veterinary Hospital is fitted with exam rooms, treatment area, radiology room, surgery suite, and a dedicated team of doctors, Technicians and receptionists. N.A.V.B.R is one of the few clinics in the area that offers innovative rehabilitation and therapy programs such as laser therapy treatment that is proven to help with the healing of incisions after surgery, and muscle and joint pains. All of our current services, boarding, pet grooming, doggie daycare, training, do-it-yourself dog wash, and all-natural pet foods and supplements have been integrated to make us the one stop quality pet care facility in Maryland! Although calls are received during normal business hours, the hospital hours are by appointment only.

Karen L. Hamilton, DVM
Karen L. Hamilton, DVM

Dr. Hamilton received her Degree from the Ohio State University in 1990 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. She excels in surgical procedures, emergencies, and Physical Rehabilitation. With the support of her team of experienced and dedicated staff she is committed to providing quality care for all their patients and boy does she love animals! She owns several dogs, cats, horses, and even chickens.

Amy Carney, DVM

Dr. Carney received her degree from the Ohio State University in 1987. She joins our team with high credentials as a previous veterinary practice owner and an associate veterinarian for numerous clinics throughout Maryland. She excels in Feline medicine. Dr. Carney has worked with communities, participating in spay and neuter projects throughout the years.

Janet Weistock , DVM
Janet Weistock , DVM

Although the newest member of our family, Dr. Weistock is not a newcomer in this field. She first obtained a Bachelor's in Business Administration at the Stevenson University (formerly the Villa Julie College) in 1996 then pursued her true calling and received her DVM degree at St. George's University. After practicing out of state she returned to her hometown of Baltimore and found a nice fit here at NAVBR. With a few German Shepherds of her own, Dr. Weistock's focus on dogs, cats, and small animal medicine and surgery is prevalent.
