Dr. Chris Hsu grew up in Taiwan with a wide variety of pets, including mice, frogs, dogs, cats, and a tree lizard. He earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 from Taiwan University, followed by his final clinical year of his DVM at Oklahoma State University in 2010. He is a member of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association and his professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, Diagnostic imaging including ultrasound imaging, emergency, critical care and wellness Veterinary medicine.
Dr. Hsu is very active in keeping himself abreast of all the new techniques and procedures in Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys his work with the fact that he has impact on helping other lives on daily basis.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, swimming, and watching movies.
Dr. Tine grew up in Uncasville, Connecticut. She always had a soft spot in her heart for dogs and cats, and knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian someday. She attended the University of Connecticut and was the president of the Pre-Veterinary Club while there. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pathobiology and a minor in Business Administration. Then, she traveled to the mid-west where she attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University for 4 years. She was on the executive board of the Veterinary Business Management Association and the Student Chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners during veterinary school.
Dr. Tine is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Puget Sound Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Tine is very excited to have joined the Mercer Street Veterinary Hospital where the health and well being of the patients is the biggest priority.
Dr. Gurm completed his DVM studies in 2006 from Washington State University, Pullman including an internship and graduate work in Neurosciences.
He offers a wide range of medical & surgical procedures. His special areas of interest are wellness care, geriatric care, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, orthopedics and soft tissue surgery. He is also accredited in stem-cell regenerative therapy for chronic degenerative conditions in pets (including but not limited to arthritis). He lives in Kenmore with wife, kids and parents.
Dr. Gurm is an active member of American Veterinary medical Association (AVMA) and Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA). When not working, he loves to spend time in golf course, travelling and entertaining family/friends. He is also into racing sports.
