Little Creek Veterinary Clinic was established in 1973 by Dr. Donald Miele as a solo practice focusing on preventative health care for cats and dogs. Dr. Miele has cared for the furry family members of clients from all over Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and even parts of North Carolina.

Dr. Donald Miele
Dr. Donald Miele

Dr. Donald Miele followed his heart to Chicago after graduating from Lycoming College in Pennsylvania. While in Chicago, he worked as an orderly in a county hospital. He then served in the Army before going on to study veterinary medicine, earning his V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

After graduation, Dr. Miele served as a health inspector before relocating to Virginia to begin his veterinary practice. He focuses on preventative care for cats and dogs, with the philosophy that the road to longevity begins with preventing disease.

Dr. Miele has seven children and thirteen grandchildren. His interests include Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Italian-language novels, tropical fish, model train layouts, and historic battles.
