Juanita Hills Animal Hospital is a full-service hospital for dogs, cats and small mammals. Our staff includes a team of excellent Veterinarians and dedicated support staff. We are located in North Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland.
We offer the best technology available in Veterinary medicine including complete paperless practice system, digital whole body x-rays, digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, technically advanced treatment center, most up to date wellness care, stem-cell regenerative therapy and a wide range of medical & surgical procedures.
We are open for appointments during normal business hours, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins and emergencies are welcome.

Dr. Gurm completed his DVM studies in 2006 from Washington State University, Pullman including an ECFVG internship and graduate work in Neurosciences. He offers a wide range of medical & surgical procedures and his special areas of interest are wellness care, geriatric care, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He is also accredited in stem-cell regenerative therapy for chronic degenerative conditions in pets (including but not limited to arthritis). He lives in Juanita neighborhood with his wife, daughter and Charlie.
Prior to founding JHAH, Dr. Gurm was leading Veterinarian of a team of 4 doctors at a busy practice in Everett, Washington as Medical Director. His clients also know him by Dr. Singh which is his middle name and follow him from Everett and other surrounding neighborhoods.
Dr. Gurm is an active member of American Veterinary medical Association (AVMA), Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA) and Veterinary Information Network (VIN).
His priority is patient care and if needed his clients can reach him even at his cell phone after hours for consults & on-call services.
Dr. Kim Martin joined our hospital in September 2013 and comes on board as an enthusiastic team member. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2010 from Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Before she devoted herself to DVM studies, she worked as a Veterinary Assistant which provided her strong and clinical knowledge in veterinary field. Her professional interests are in preventive care, dermatology, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. She is an active member of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and likes to keep her abreast of all the new advancements in Veterinary medicine.
Our clients specially love her friendly and helpful nature. She believes in practicing highest quality medicine and excellent client education. She lives with her husband (also a Veterinarian) in Kenmore. They have two dogs Mo and Lucy, and a cat named Spike.
Dr. Tine grew up in Uncasville, Connecticut. She always had a soft spot in her heart for dogs and cats, and knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian someday. She attended the University of Connecticut and was the president of the Pre-Veterinary Club while there. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pathobiology and a minor in Business Administration. Then, she traveled to the mid-west where she attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University for 4 years. She was on the executive board of the Veterinary Business Management Association and the Student Chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners during veterinary school.
Dr. Tine is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Puget Sound Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Tine is very excited to have joined the Madison Street Animal Hospital where the health and well being of the patients is the biggest priority.
Dr. Hsu started his Veterinary medicine studies at National Taiwan University in Taipei and later finished his DVM accreditation from Oklahoma State University in 2010.
He joined our team in April 2014 and is known to be a client's favorite. His professional interests are Internal medicine and Surgery, Emergency medicine and critical care plus advanced diagnostic imaging including but not limited to ultrasound. He is very regular at enhancing his knowledge in this field and attends regular continuing education seminars. Dr Hsu believes in creating a close bond with patients and clients to help them out the best way possible.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and critter family of course.
