Born and raised in the city of Los Angeles, I am a first generation Mexican-American who has been in the small animal field for more than seven years. I studied at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine with my focus being small animal medicine. During my training, I was able to strengthen my clinical and surgical skills by rotating through various specialty services, community practice and community surgery services. On my days off, I enjoy staying active through activities such as fitness competitions, kickboxing, hiking and running as well as staying up-to-date on various topics in the veterinary field. My professional interests include behavior and ophthalmology. I have always known that I want to pursue a career that involved caring for animals because of the amazing beauty held in the relationship between each individual and their pet. My goal in caring for your pet is to provide the highest quality medicine with an emphasis on preventive care.

I have always been an animal lover. Dogs, cats and horses were some of my best companions and friends growing up. I am originally from Tunisia. I grew up in a family of veterinarians and was surrounded by lots of pets. My mother was one of the first female veterinarian practitioners in Tunisia who opened her own veterinary hospital back in 1981. I always admired her work and passion for animal care. She is my role model. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the national school of veterinary medicine of Sid Thabet Tunisia and graduated with honors in 2008. I have a professional interest in diagnostic sonography, internal medicine and preventive medicine. I also enjoy soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In my free time, I enjoy baking, swimming and spending time with my family.
