Dr. Kimberly Young grew up in Queens, NY. She received her Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York at Albany. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine from St. Matthews University in 2009. Following graduation she moved to Arizona with her then fiance and started working for Banfield Pet Hospital.
Dr. Young's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and preventative care. Her now husband, a veterinarian as well, and her have two sons, a dog named Pirate, a bearded dragon named King Puffer and multiple fresh water fish.
Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Young enjoys camping, horseback riding, hiking, and hanging out with the family at the pool.
Dr. Elizabeth Spangler loves practicing veterinary medicine and is proud to be an integral part of a valued profession that continues to make an important difference in the lives of animals and the people who love and care for them. She is a 2007 graduate of St. George's University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dr. Spangler grew up in Gainesville, Florida (GO Gators!) and now calls Arizona her "furever" home. She lives in a house overtaken by her seven "fur-covered feline angels" named Alltoon, Felix, S.K. Henry, Gator, Tater, and her 19 year-old Maricopa County shelter adoptee, Old Man Marcus. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, reading and gardening.
Dr. Spangler enjoys practicing small animal internal and emergency medicine; her special interests and strengths include geriatric medicine, pain management, and feline medicine. Dr. Spangler believes in the importance of building and maintaining the human-animal bond- she practice veterinary medicine with the highest regard to both a client's and pet's well-being and will always provide the best information and veterinary care available to help each patient.
