Ngoc Nguyen (Veterinary Assistant)

Hi, my name is Ngoc and I'm from Vietnam. In 2014 I graduated from Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo with a degree in Animal Science and then immediately after graduating I began my job search. I knew of Banfield from a friend whose pet was being seen by a veterinarian there. The more I researched about the hospital, the more I wanted to apply. In 2014 I was hired as a veterinary assistant at the Fountain Valley location! I love working for Banfield and I especially enjoy working with my awesome team. Both Dr.Singer and Dr. Pluskat are great doctors and excellent mentors. All my co-workers help me day by day to improve my skills. Everyday I go to work with a positive attitude and the feeling that I will help save pets or prevent illnessand I go home smiling. There are many challenges but I am happy to be a part of this wonderful team. My future plans include gaining more experience and possibly becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Janae Moser (Shift Lead)
Janae Moser (Shift Lead)

Hi! My name is Janae Moser and I have been a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital for 2 1/2 years. I have always known I would end up working with animals since I was young. My family would often take trips to Mexico as a child and I would try to bring all the stray dogs home with me to nurse back to health. As I got older, I volunteered for several local rescue groups in Orange County and Riverside County during my free time. Volunteering was very satisfying and I soon came to the realization that this was the career path that I was meant to take. I decided to change careers and have never had a more fulfilling job than working at Banfield, making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. I take great pride in providing the absolute best care for pets and addressing all concerns that pet owners may have. After all, pets are our family and should be treated as such.I have 3 crazy rescue dogs of my own: Cota, a 10 year old chow-mix who is gentle and sweet, Maddie, a 7 year old chi-weenie who is shy and a little awkward and Hunter, a 3 year old min-pin/Chihuahua mix who is full of energy and has to be the center of attention.

Nancy Villalobos (Veterinary Assistant)

My name is Nancy Villalobos and I am a veterinary assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital in Fountain Valley. I have been with Banfieldfour years now. I started at the Banfield in West Jordan, Utah where I was also going to school for my Bachelor's in Human Development. I decided to move back to California, as I grew up primarily in Yorba Linda, and transferred to the Banfield in Whittier. I learned about the opportunity to start at a brand new hospital in Orange County and thought it would be an excellent experience. I am very happy to have made the choice because I got to meet and work with amazing people here at Fountain Valley. The team here is wonderful and know that we all are always working hard to care for every pet that comes to our hospital. I am currently enrolled in the Penn Foster program to complete my certification and will soon become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

I remember as a kid I always wanted to work with animals. I?ve always loved animals! I?ve had hamsters, kittens, dogs, lizards, fish and mice throughout my life. Animals always seemed to find me; I'd bring them home and be heartbroken when I couldn?t keep them. I am so happy to be part of the Fountain Valley Banfield team. It took me awhile to get here, but I?m finally where I belong: In a pet hospital helping all the cute animals that come through. I have a diploma in Medical Assisting so the "medicine" part of it is familiar, but animals are much better than humans at letting you love them. I?ve worked in the medical field for about 5 years and I enjoyed every minute of it. Helping others is another passion of mine. I also have experience working with kids as a Youth Development Professional, which I also loved. I have a wonderful daughter of my own, so patience was a skill I had already highly developed. I love music and going to concerts as often as I can. I love to read and get lost in a book! I love spending time with my family and friends. I?m so excited to be part of the Fountain Valley Banfield Team and this new journey I am embarking on!
