Dr. Keston Smith is a second generation veterinarian and grew up in a small Midwest town of Independence, Missouri. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where he worked at a genetic laboratory during the school year. During the summer months, Dr. Smith worked as an Elephant keeper at the Kansas City Zoo. He attended the Royal Veterinary College of London, England and graduated in 2012. While at the rcv, Dr. Smith concentrated on specialties including exotics, pathology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and emergency medicine. He now lives in Manhattan with his wife and they love to travel, especially to London and Italy. Dr. Smith has one dog and one cat, and is a novice runner. He just ran in the New York Marathon this November 2015.read more
Dr. Erica Bernard grew up in Weschester, NY and joined the Banfield team in 2014. After graduating from Emory University, Dr. Bernard worked in the zoo field, while volunteering as a zoo keeper. It was here that she decided to follow her passion and become a veterinarian. In 2013, Dr. Bernard graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at University of Florida. She currently lives in New York City with her dog, Teddy and cat, Mouse.read more
Dr. Madison Keller grew up in the rural town of Clarksburg, Maryland and joined the Banfield team in 2015. She grew up constantly surrounded by her two passions, sports and animals. After graduating from East Carolina University, where she played soccer for 4 years, she attended vet school at Virginia Tech. She currently lives in New York City, but still supports all DC sports teams.read more
