Dr. Melanie Gerard

Dr. Melanie Gerard is our lead Veterinarian. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Prior to joining the Banfield family, she enjoyed private practice, working in a university setting, and was the senior Veterinarian at a large humane society in Minneapolis. She and her husband call Bellevue home together with their five children and two herding dogs, Zorro and Behr.

Dr. Erin Bennett

Dr. Erin Bennett is from Port Angeles, Washington. Prior to joining Banfield, she completed her undergraduate degree at Washington State University and graduated from Oregon State University. She enjoys volunteering at the local spay/neuter clinic. Dr. Bennett and her husband reside in Kirkland with their corgis, Bella and James, and a cat, Theodore.

Dr. Nichole Frei was born and raised in Kirkland, Washington. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Idaho and attended veterinary school at Washington State University. Her furry family includes a yellow lab named Wilfred, a cat name Claire, and a rabbit named Theo.
