Dr. Kristin Fornara

Dr. Fornara is an Arizona native who graduated from Arizona State University in 2007 with a degree in agribusiness. Her passion for animals and veterinary medicine led her to St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a 2012 graduate from St George's, and she completed her clinical training at The Ohio State University. She returned to Arizona as a veterinarian in 2012 and spent the past four years as a small animal veterinarian in the East Valley. Dr. Fornara spent time as a relief veterinarian at Alta Mesa in 2015, and made the decision to transition to full time here based on the high quality of medicine being practiced. She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry, having completed additional training in small animal dentistry through University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. Her outside interests include traveling, hiking, going to concerts, and cheering on her favorite sports teams (Go Cards!). She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her dogs: Yogi, a Dachshund, Tucker, a Labrador Retriever, and her two rescue Chihuahuas Bella and Maximus.
